Regency and paranormal romances are just so wonderful. My favorite is Teresa Medeiros' Cabot sister series.

I appreciate you all stopping by to comment.
KikiKiki Howell - Authorhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17505178053235472922noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8386077972421065740.post-74697081391617679722011-02-23T16:21:05.055-05:002011-02-23T16:21:05.055-05:00Well, I certainly enjoyed the blurb. I find it fascinating that many authors are now blending genres (or at least it's new to me) and since I like variety the combination of two of my favorites - regency and paranormal - sounds like a wonderful blend.catsladyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06375770995988927860noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8386077972421065740.post-6968320311038001312011-02-23T10:16:15.499-05:002011-02-23T10:16:15.499-05:00Hi Kiki,

I am a Regency addict, which might sound odd coming from a m/m author, but I have a weakness for them, and especially for men with titles! I think combining that with paranormal is brilliant, I might have to consider something of the sort when I get the nerve to attempt a Regency.

Your mention of the word bluestocking makes me think of Gone With The Wind, the first time I remember reading the word. Not a Regency, no, but Scarlett is thinking (about Melanie, I don't remember) that if she's not careful, she'll be considered a bluestocking, and that was not a compliment by any means. But then, this was a time which did not consider that women had brains.

Best wishes for your book, and great blog!Julie Lynn Hayeshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03574029767523627749noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8386077972421065740.post-6393279556925516482011-02-23T10:10:29.685-05:002011-02-23T10:10:29.685-05:00Hi Kiki. The good thing was that things were starting to change, so Regency heroines had some hope for the future.Linda Banchehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18143074276306710646noreply@blogger.com
